Business Learning Software, Inc. specializes in the development of instructional technology in business education. The president of BLS Inc. is Norm Nemrow, a professor of accounting at Brigham Young University (Ranked as the #1 accounting university in the world by the London Financial Times). Norm has a masters in Accountancy from BYU, and became the president and CEO of one of the largest real estate investment firms in the country. After a few years, Norm negotiated the sale of the business and decided to use his new financial independency to focus on his true passion of business education. Norm has now been teaching Introductory accounting at BYU for about 20 years on a volunteer basis. However, about ten years ago, Norm knew there was a better way to teach his students than with the traditional textbook/lecture approach. He began working in tandem with BYU to develop the first version of our Introduction to Accounting software. The software was an instant success and Norm started BLS Inc. in 2002 to continue the development and marketing of our software. The Introduction to Accounting: The Language of Business software series is a comprehensive textbook-replacement tool that teaches introductory accounting better and faster than any product on the market today. Over 40,000 students have used our software from many schools around the world with outstanding success. We are passionate about business education and developing excellent learning tools that inspire and educate individuals to be proficient leaders in industry and better business decision makers.
